Originally an American manufacturer of gas fired heaters, Reznor has also been serving the European market from its facility in Menen, Belgium for 50 years.
“Meanwhile we continue to extend our product range with more high efficiency products that use renewable energy”, says new General Manager Chris Grammens. “The biggest European markets are the U.K., France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. Reznor selected Menen for its European production because of its convenient location between the main distributors. We have 100 dedicated employees in a flexible system, with our activities mainly concentrated in the high season from November to February, ensuring a turnover of € 16 million. In our Menen facility, we manufacture gas fired air heaters and air handling units, but soon we will also be making heat pumps for the European market.”
The switch to renewable energy
“There will always be a future for our HVAC products that excel in the highest efficiency and the lowest emissions”, Chris Grammens continues. “We have been developing industrial heat pumps and air handling units so that we can make the difference when it comes to energy efficiency in industrial and commercial buildings. As we always aim to be at the forefront, Reznor is an active member of the European trade federation Euro-Air. In consultation with European authorities, we strive towards solutions that are increasingly environmentally friendly. “
