Zurich, Suisse, le 21 mars 2013 – ABB, le groupe technologique leader en matière de systèmes électriques et d'automatisation, a annoncé avoir signé un accord pour céder Thomas & Betts heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) à Nortek, Inc. (Nasdaq: NTK), dont le siège est à Providence, Rhode Island, pour un montant de US$260 millions dans le cadre d'une transaction au comptant. L'opération devrait être conclue au deuxième trimestre 2014, sous réserve de l'autorisation des autorités de réglementation.
